What is AmeriCamp Premium?
The AmeriCamp Premium program provides the chance to work at one of AmeriCamp’s spectacular summer camps in a teaching role for a higher salary than the mainstream program at no extra cost.

Below, you will find the most requested positions from camps, along with the level of qualification and experience required to be eligible for the Premium Camp Program. Water Sports
Qualifications
Paddle Australia Flatwater Instructor/Introductory Guide/Instructor/Paddle Australia Level 1 Instructor
Experience
3-5 years experience at a club or university level.
Qualifications
Recreational Boat Licence with Tow-Endorsement or PWC Licence, Australian Sailing Powerboat Handling Certificate or Certificate of Competency – Coxswain Grade 2
Experience
3+ years experience boat driving.
Age Requirement
Some camps require 21+ year olds.
Qualifications
Australian Sailing Dinghy Instructor or Australian Sailing Keelboat Instructor, depending on vessel type and experience level.
Experience
3+ years coaching sailing and/or 5+ years sailing at club or university level.
Qualifications
Waterski & Wakeboard Australia (WWA) Level 1 or Level 2 Coaching Accreditation.
Experience
3+ years coaching waterski/wakeboarding and/or 5+ years experience in activity at club or university level.
Sports
Qualifications
1+ years coaching and/or 3+ years experience in activity at club or university level.
Experience
Demonstrated understanding of golf rules, techniques, and strategies, including proper swing mechanics, putting techniques, and course management skills.
Qualifications
Gymnastics Australia Intermediate Coach Accreditation.
Experience
3 years working at the coaching level and / or 5 years experience in gymnastics with apparatus at the university or club level.
Qualifications
Tennis Australia Junior Development Coach (Level 1) or Community Coaching Course, depending on role and experience level.

3+ years coaching and/or 5+ years playing tennis at club or university level.
Age Requirement
19+ years old.
Qualifications
Equestrian Australia NCAS Level 1 Coach or Horse Safety Australia Instructor Accreditation.

3-5 years at a club or university level with teaching experience.

Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Skills and Activities for Sport and Active Leisure/Outdoor, Sports Adventure Certification, Climbing Instructor Certification, Archery Instructor Certification.

Qualifications
Hold a Degree or studying Fine Art, Pottery or Ceramics with the ability to teach techniques.

Hold a Degree or studying photography, videography, digital media, film & cameras or have 2+ years of industry work.

3-5 years experience or 2+ years of industry work.
Age Requirement
19+ years old.
Qualifications
The skills to teach include Silks, Hammocks, Lyra, Spanish Web, and Rolla Bolla, as well as Static, Single, Double, and Triple Trapeze. Certificate IV in Circus Arts (NICA) is highly desirable.

You'll Get to Spend Around 9-12 weeks Working in the USA!
Most placements are from June to mid-August. If you’re free from May to late August, then even better!
The more flexible you are with your dates, the more camps there are to view your application. The latest start date that we can accept is June 18th, so please be mindful of this when signing up!
