What are Direct & Returners?

Returner: Returning to the same camp for your 2nd summer.

‍Returner 3rd Year+: Returning to the same camp for your 3rd+ summer. These visas are more limited so please start your application as soon as possible.

‍Direct Placement: Secured a first-time placement contract with a camp PRIOR to paying your deposit.

J-1 Visa Processing Fee

$640 AUD

The J-1 Visa process requires fees paid to the US Consulate in Australia when booking your appointment. Australian passport holders also pay a Visa Issuance Fee at the appointment, which varies based on the US-AUD exchange rate.
